Methodology
Infrastructure & Finance Risk Pessimistic Scenario 2030 : This scenario is derived from the Water Risk Filter infrastructure & finance risk in the year 2020 (baseline), added with assumptions based on the work from International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) Water program: the hydro-economic classification, and on the Shared Socioeconomic Pathways’ extended narratives towards water availability.
Data description
This is how infrastructure & finance risk will look like in a world with unequal and unstable socio-economic development (SSP3) and high GHG emission levels (RCP6.0 /RCP8.5), a pathway which will lead to an increase of global mean surface temperature of approximately 3.5°C by the end of the 21st century.
