It integrates 3 datasets derived from remote sensing and produced at a global extent, they were selected because they have related aspects of the land restoration process. The first functional is based on land productivity, the second is related to changes in energy balance of the ecosystem, the latest is related to the structural changes using identities transitions in land cover. It tries to discriminate between highly degraded and degraded ecosystems. It works with MODIS sensor
